Setting tabs in a document.

  1. On the Home or Page Layout tab of a new document click the small arrow in the bottom right hand corner of the Paragraph group.
  2. The Paragraph dialogue box open.
  3. Click the Tabs button (lower left hand corner of the dialogue box).
  4. The Tabs dialogue box opens.

5. Enter a tab position e.g. 2 cm.
6. Choose the type of tab you require i.e. left, right, centre or decimal.
7. Click Set – repeat the last 3 steps if setting more than one tab.
8. When all tabs are set  - click ok.

It is important to remember to click Set for each tab stop position.
